Meet our teachers

Ngui is a student of knowledge and a student of the Quran. She dedicates her time to teaching women and children of all ages and levels how to recite the Quran, from the Arabic alphabet and reading words to the rules of Tajweed and fluent recitation.

She is a compassionate, patient, and encouraging teacher. Her joy comes from seeing students achieve success at each level they take on, deepening their love for and connection to the Quran.

She has studied several books of Tajweed and currently teaches at a madrasa under the supervision of her teacher and mentor, alḥamdulillāh.

Pulo is a dedicated student of knowledge and ḥalaqa facilitator. She is passionate about helping sisters strengthen their connection with Allah through reflection on the Quran.

She regularly leads reminder sessions focused on practical spiritual growth, tadabbur, and building a sincere relationship with the Quran in everyday life. Her teaching style emphasizes simplicity, reflection, and applying Islamic guidance with sincerity and consistency.

Through her ḥalaqas, she encourages participants to hold on to the rope of Allah by deepening their understanding of the Quran, strengthening dhikr, and nurturing reliance upon Allah in all circumstances. The goal is to create beneficial spaces of learning where hearts reconnect with the words of Allah and grow in faith together.

Bineta is a humble teacher devoted to sharing the beauty, meanings, and lessons of the 99 Names of Allah. She is passionate about helping others deepen their connection with Allah through understanding His divine attributes with sincerity, reflection, and love.

She is committed to creating a peaceful learning environment where hearts are inspired, faith is strengthened, and knowledge is shared with humility and purpose.

Oumy is a student of knowledge who holds an ijāza for Imām al‑Nawawī’s 40 Hadith. She is devoted to helping Muslimahs strengthen their relationship with their Creator.

A compassionate teacher who believes knowledge is best acquired while nurturing rapport, she prioritizes empathy, effective communication, and adapting to each student’s learning style to deepen understanding.

Her passion for the Dīn of Allah ﷻ motivates her to lead with kindness and encouragement to further student success.

Aminata is an Arabic and Islamic studies teacher with a strong foundation in traditional scholarship. She completed all of her studies at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, one of the oldest and most respected centers of Islamic learning.

She teaches Qurʾān recitation and memorization, with special care for beginners taking their first steps.

Aminata also has five years of experience teaching the Arabic language in Islamic schools, helping students build confidence in both reading and understanding.
