Privacy notice

In short, today

• Online registration submissions are not yet available, so registrations entered on this website are not sent to the academy or stored by it.
• The contact form is not open yet.
• Online donations are not active on this website.
• The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising, and loads no outside services in your browser.

The registration form

The form asks only for what the academy needs to place a learner: the course, who is registering (the learner herself, or a parent or guardian for a girl in their care), the learner’s name, a contact email, a phone number with country code, country, city or town (optional), timezone, preferred language for messages, current level, the days and times of day that suit, and an optional short note. When a parent or guardian registers, we ask for their name and email instead of the learner’s email.

We do not ask for a date of birth, identity documents or health information.

Until submissions are available, what you type stays only in your own browser tab, so your answers are not lost if you switch language or reload. It is cleared when you close the tab, and the form stops using it after six hours.

When online registration opens

Once online registration opens (this page will be updated that day), each registration you choose to send will be emailed to the academy’s own inbox from its own Google account, using Google Apps Script and Gmail, together with the version of this notice you accepted. The website itself will not keep a copy. Google handles that email under its own terms. Only people the academy authorizes will read it.

The contact form, when it opens, will work the same way: your name, email, topic and message emailed to the academy.

Classes on Zoom

Classes take place on Zoom. After a place is confirmed, the academy sends your private Zoom link and class details to you directly. Zoom processes data under its own privacy policy. Whether classes are recorded, and how any recording is handled, will be confirmed before your class starts.

Donations

Online donations are not active on this website, and no payment can be made here. When they open, gifts will be made on the payment provider’s own page (Zeffy for cards, PayDunya for mobile money), which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. This page will be updated before that happens.

Your browser and our hosting

The timetable remembers the timezone you choose, in your own browser on this device. Nothing else is stored in your browser apart from the registration draft described above.

The website is hosted by Vercel, which receives the standard technical information any website receives (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver and protect the site, under its own terms.

Your choices

• We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, and joining a mailing list is never required.
• You will be able to ask to see, correct or delete information the academy holds about you or a learner in your care. How to make that request will be published here once the academy’s contact address is confirmed.

How long information is kept

The academy has not yet set its retention periods. They will be added to this notice once approved.
